6 Things You Can Create With Newsprint Scrapbook Paper

Newsprint scrapbook paper is definitely the go-to paper for arts and crafts lovers. It seems to add a lot of depth and interest to any project and that is why we love it. There are plenty of different styled newsprint paper to choose from including modern newspaper, newspaper that has images, vintage newspaper and different coloured newspaper.

Newsprint Scrapbook Paper Bunting

You can create beautiful and unique bunting by downloading a flag clipart and your chosen newsprint scrapbook paper. Use Photoshop to add the newspaper background to the flag. Next step is to download a heart clipart and red polka dot paper and use Photoshop again to add the red polka dot background to the heart. You can then paste the heart onto the newspaper flag and print as many as you like. Use red and white twine to glue the flags onto to hang up on the wall.

Newsprint Scrapbook Paper Baubles

All what you need for these cute vintage baubles is some old worn out baubles, newsprint scrapbook paper and silver glitter. To make them, simply print out your chosen newsprint paper cut it into manageable pieces. Glue these pieces onto the baubles and add lashing of silver glitter glue on top. You can either keep these for your own tree or sell them if you are doing a fundraiser this year.

Newsprint Scrapbook Paper Photo Frame

You can create your own newsprint scrapbook paper photo frame by simply printing out your chosen newsprint paper onto card and cutting to your desired size. The glue the photo you want onto the centre of the newsprint card. You can then use clipart butterflies, flowers and doilies to decorate your photo frame.

How cute are these little newsprint scrapbook paper flower buttons? You can add them to just about anything; gift wrap, party invitations, greeting cards, scrapbooks and more. Print as many as you need, cut them out and glue old buttons onto them.

Newsprint Scrapbook Paper Gift Tags

These gift tags look so unique and will really go down well with whomever it is you are gifting to. To make them, simply download a traditional clipart label and your chosen newsprint scrapbook paper and use Photoshop to transfer the newspaper paper onto the gift tag. You can then print however many you need, punch a hole in the top and loop through twine to attach it to your gift.

Newsprint Scrapbook Paper Table Top

How cool does this table look with a newsprint scrapbook paper surface? If you want to create the same look, simply print out your chosen newsprint paper and cut into squares. Use Mod Podge to glue the newsprint paper to the table top and then another coat on top of the newsprint paper. You can also add a few layers of a shiny sealant on top once the Mod Podge had dried for a smooth and shin table top.
